The Grace Cathedral is a renowned San Francisco landmark. It was designed in French Gothic style by Lewis Hobart and completed in 1964. Frescoes depict the history of San Francisco and scenes from the life of St. Francis of Assisi.

Grace Cathedral is home to a community where the best of Episcopal tradition courageously embraces innovation and open-minded conversation, where inclusion is expected and people of all faiths are welcomed, where beliefs are put into action and where people are encouraged to seek God and progress on their own spiritual journeys. [1]

Music is inextricably woven into the liturgy of this Cathedral.
