Darawan is a small village of 13.7 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Darawan depends on Tikait Nagar (N), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Darawan's pin code is 225302[4], and village code is 05691100. The area of Darawan is segregated as 628.987 hectares irrigated area, 24.822 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 96.492 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Darawan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Darawan is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3243 and has total administration over 636 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 1514 (46.69%) males constitute 805 (24.82%) of the population and females 709 (21.86%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1338 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 885 male, 453 female with 345 (25.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 242 males and 103 females. 172 males and 45 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 19 male and 16 female agricultural labor. 993 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tikait Nagar (N) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
