Belton Independent School District Bond Issue (November 2009)

The Belton Independent School District Bond Issue was on the November 3 ballot in Bell County for voters in the Belton school district.[1]

This issue proposed a bond in the amount of $29,000,000 which goes towards helping to repair and maintain the school buildings in the district and also acquiring the land to build a new middle school. There would be an increase in local property taxes in order to pay for this bond[2]
