CentOS, which stands for Community Enterprise Operating System is a Linux operating system which began being developed in March 2004. The first edition was released in May of the same year. It was derived from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux sources.[1] On January seventh, 2014, CentOS officially joining forces with Red Hat. Like most other Linux systems, it is free to use for any individual or company.
