Ice cream is a dessert food created by using frozen milk, along with flavors and possibly fruits, nuts, or chocolate bits. Frozen custard and frozen yogurt are variations of this recipe. There are different flavours of ice cream, such as vanilla ice cream, raspberry ripple, Cornish ice cream and Neapolitan, which is a combination of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

Often times ice cream is used as a tool to gather people together. Ice cream socials originate in the 1800s and are typical of Church events.
