Jackie Cooper (September 15, 1922 – May 3, 2011) was an American actor, television director, producer, and executive. He was a child actor, known for his appearances in the Our Gang/Little Rascals comedy shorts from 1929 to 1932, who continued his acting career into adulthood, best known at that point for his appearances it the Superman film series from 1978 to 1987 as Daily Planet editor-in-chief Perry White.
