Kevin Smith (Director)

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Kevin Smith (born 1970) was the director of such movies as

  • Clerks (1994)
  • Mallrats (1995)
  • Chasing Amy (1997)
  • Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)
  • Dogma (1999)
  • Jersey Girl (2004)

He is a friend of Ben Affleck who supported John Kerry in the 2004 Presidential campaign. He was a convenience store clerk before going on to write and direct the movie Clerks. His movies are noted for their profanity and exploration of offbeat themes, such as exactly who was on the partially constructed Death Star when it was destroyed in Star Wars Episode VI.

He has appeared in most of his movies, as the character Silent Bob.
