The New York Sun is a neoconservative five-days-a-week newspaper that describes itself as "The Objective Standard: A Journal for People of Reason."[1] It emphasizes the secular side of news events and often features local New York news on its front page.
The New York Sun was founded in 2002, the first new daily in New York in many decades. However, it has struggled to attract paying customers, with one report claiming that it sells only 13,211 hard copies a day and gives away more than 85,000.[2]
