Trilateral Commission

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 4 min

Trilateral Commission is a globalist think tank founded by banker David Rockefeller. George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter were both members prior to their presidential campaigns. It was unpopular with many conservatives such as Ronald Reagan and Jesse Helms, and conservatives today continue to oppose it.

According to its website the Trilateral Commission was formed in 1973 by private citizens of Japan, European Union countries, United States and Canada to foster closer cooperation among these core industrialized areas of the world with shared leadership responsibilities in the wider international system.[1]

Deep state influence[edit]

The Trilateral Commission has had a massive influence on both Republican and Democrat administrations – consistent with how the deep state remains in power regardless of who is elected to lead. While Republican Ronald Reagan criticized Democrat Jimmy Carter for having Trilateralists dominate his administration, Reagan chose several Trilateral Commission members for his own presidential administration after being elected.[2] These Reagan Administration Trilateralists included George H. W. Bush, who succeeded Reagan as president.[2] Not even the Trump Administration was free from the Trilateral Commission – after serving in the White House, the Trump Administration appointed Trilateralist Kenneth Juster as the U.S. Ambassador to India.[3]

Globalist agenda[edit]

The Trilateral Commission was founded in 1973 by globalist supporters of one-world government David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski (both of whom were involved in other globalist organizations such as CFR and the Bilderberg group) in order to coordinate the globalist agendas of the American Council on Foreign Relations with its counterparts in other countries in Europe and Asia.[2][4][5] These globalists decided to create regional alliances such as NAFTA and the European Union as a steppingstone for a world government.[2]

The Trilateral Commission's globalist agenda was exposed in the 1978 book Trilaterals Over Washington by historian Antony Sutton and researcher Patrick Wood of Stanford University.[4] Wood later stated that "the Trilateral Commission was international, founded to create a 'New International Economic Order" and that their members have been the architects and drivers of all modern globalization, including that which comes through the United Nations as Sustainable Development and Green Economy. Although the Trilateral Commission is international in scope, in the U.S. they are more than just being part of the so-called Deep State, they ARE the Deep State!"[4]
