Water recycling is an inefficient approach to water replenishment, as favored by radical environmentalists who block catching most rainwater for reservoirs. Leftist California Gov. Gavin Newsom (Dem) proposes costly water recycling projects to address worsening drought conditions in that state,[1] while most rainfall is allowed to runoff into the ocean.[2]
Like wind turbines and public schools, costly water recycling proposals rather than using more of the rainfall is an example of liberal logic, bilking Americans on wasteful policies.
In fact, only a tiny percentage of water use is from recycled water: less than 0.3% (three-tenths of 1%) of total water use in the U.S. is from recycled water.[3]
