William Howard Melish

William Howard Melish was a member of the board of the Communist front organization, the National Council of American-Soviet Friendship. Howard edited their biweekly publication, Reporter (CPUSA).

Melish oversaw the awarding of the Stalin Peace Prize in 1953. He was the father of Howard (Jeff) Melish who oversaw financial operations for the Students for a Democratic Society in the 1960s.[1]
