Anatheism

Anatheism is a position of Richard Kearney that seeks to find a stronger presence of God through the return of God through absence. [1] [2] Jacques Derrida and Bonhoeffer, who position the sacred within the realm of the secular, have influenced Kearney's view. [3]
Relation to other positions[edit]
Kearney's anatheism rejects both ancient and New-Age versions of pantheism which he claims to merge the secular and sacred. [4]
