Bardiya is a small village of 984 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bardiya depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 101.26% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bardiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bardiya's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 04130800. The area of Bardiya is segregated as 162.02 hectares irrigated area, 59.78 hectares unirrigated, the 406.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bardiya is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 832 and has total administration over 180 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bardiya has 117 children, 58 boys and 59 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 192 (23.08%) males constitute 97 (11.66%) of the population and females 95 (11.42%).

The workforce is 263 male, 226 female with 197 (40.29%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 181 males and 16 females. 103 males and 6 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 73 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 292 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
