Jogawad is a small village of 254 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jogawad depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 32.12% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jogawad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jogawad's pin code is 301401[4], and village code is 00777000. The area of Jogawad is segregated as 183.33 hectares irrigated area, 57 hectares unirrigated, the 9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jogawad has Eight public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Jogawad has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Jogawad is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 987 and has total administration over 180 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Jogawad has 124 children, 67 boys and 57 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 133 (13.48%) males constitute 76 (7.70%) of the population and females 57 (5.78%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
