Jyoti Yadav (born 17 December 1994 Mahendragarh, Haryana) is an Indian journalist.[1][2] She is associated with ThePrint and covers politics, gender and social justice topics. She also covers the issues related to Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Women and Child Development and Agriculture.[3][4][5]
Jyoti Yadav was born in Mahendragarh, Haryana on 17 December 1994. She studied English literature and earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the Daulat Ram College, Delhi University.[3][4]
Jyoti started her career in journalism with The Lallantop in September 2016 and later worked with News18 from March 2017 to December 2017 and Inshorts from January 2018 to February 2019. She joined ThePrint in March 2019.Jyoti has travelled in the north India covering gang rapes and communal violence. She also writes on the changing rural India in a digital age.[6][7][4]
Jyoti writes a weekly column on ThePrint on the burning issues from a millennial’s perspective. The blog is called Meri Jaan Mujhe Khabar Hai (English: I know, my dear!).[8][4]
