Kasampura is a small village of 256 hectares in Digod Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kasampura depends on KOTA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Kasampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kasampura's pin code is 325201[3], and village code is 03794100. The area of Kasampura is segregated as 206.17 hectares irrigated area, 3.03 hectares unirrigated, the 5.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 41.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kasampura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kasampura is a census village in the district of Kota, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 484 and has total administration over 84 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kasampura has 85 children, 51 boys and 34 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 212 (43.80%) males constitute 111 (22.93%) of the population and females 101 (20.87%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 190 (39.26%) males constitute 101 (20.87%) of the population and females 89 (18.39%).

The workforce is 130 male, 63 female with 101 (52.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 93 males and 8 females. 51 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 19 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 92 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kota to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
