Khamor is a small village of 2813 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khamor depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 22.40% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khamor is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
