Lasni is a small village of 465 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lasni depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 27.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lasni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lasni's pin code is 306303[4], and village code is 02395200. The area of Lasni is segregated as 111 hectares irrigated area, 207 hectares unirrigated, the 104 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Lasni has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Lasni is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1366 and has total administration over 279 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Lasni has 225 children, 133 boys and 92 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 588 (43.05%) males constitute 319 (23.35%) of the population and females 269 (19.69%).

The workforce is 386 male, 367 female with 479 (63.61%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 340 males and 139 females. 162 males and 50 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 142 male and 86 female agricultural labor. 274 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaitaran and Pali to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
