Manoj Kumar Pramanik

Manoj Kumar Pramanik is a Bangladeshi television, film actor and university teacher. Manoj has worked in numerous TVC and web original, Bangladeshi TV dramas. 'Eti Tomarai Dhaka' is his first movie. Also his upcoming films are Operation Sundarbans, 'Mon Mondir’, Manusher Bagan, Mission Extreme, Bhalobasher Pritilota.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

Birth & Education[edit]

He was born in Radhanagar of Niamatpur Upazila in Naogaon District of Rajshahi. His father was a principal of the college and his grandfather was a teacher teacher.^[6] But they also performed on the ride. His mother used to sing. He grew up in an art-minded family. He has one sister and two brothers.^[7]He Studies Theatre and Performing arts at the University of Rajshahi. By profession, he is an actor and lecturer at the Dept. of Film and Media Studies, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, ^[8]

He started working as an assistant director to Amitabh Reza Chowdhury in 2006. He acted in the movie 'Balu Ghari' in 2006 while studying at Rajshahi University. In 2010, he starred in an Advertisement for Grameenphone. In 2014, he starred called Kache Ashar Golpoand later in a drama in the series. In 2020, he worked with Tasnuva Tisha in a Banglalink advertisement. After that, he did not have to look back. He also starred in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's Saturday Afternoon, Gaushey Alexander's The Halt, Tanim Rahman Angsu directed 'Shahoshika'.Recently his performance has captivated the audience for Taqdeer (TV series), Raihan Rafi' s webfilm 'Darkside of Dhaka'.^{[27][28][29][30][31]}

In 2021, he formed a production house with his students named MANpaCHITRA and executed a eid special Short film TV series called '7 Dugune 14' premeired in Deepto TV and also avalable in OTT platform Bioscopelive. All the shotfilm in this series is being directed by his university student. There are also two more films produced by Manpachitra awaiting for release "Akjon Telapuka" and "Jay Jay Din". ^[32]
