Melodica Music Academy, formerly called Melodica Music Center, is a private performing arts academy based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Founded in 2013 by the renowned pop singer Afshin, the academy offers diverse educational programs, including music and dance classes and various short courses in the creative arts. Melodica Music Academy is accredited by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the educational quality assurance authority of the Government of Dubai, and other relevant accrediting bodies RAD and MTB .[1]
Melodica Music Academy was founded in 2013 by Iranian pop star Afshin with a view of providing music education to kids and adults of the UAE expats.[2][3] It was the largest expatriate music educational institution[4] established in Dubai. The academy initially commenced its operations with 18 branches in Dubai before expanding its reach to include locations in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The academy experienced an initial enrollment of 10,000 students, steadily growing to encompass more than 50,000 students distributed across all 23 branches. The academy employs a team of approximately 300 teachers and staff of over 1,200 employees.
