Oriyana is a small village of 508 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Oriyana depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 32.97% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Oriyana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Oriyana's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01864200. The area of Oriyana is segregated as 103 hectares irrigated area, 256 hectares unirrigated, the 82.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Oriyana is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 752 and has total administration over 146 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 248 male, 232 female with 220 (45.83%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 166 males and 54 females. 89 males and 37 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 260 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell furniture and make their living.
