Padoona is a small village of 4041 hectares in Girwa Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Padoona depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 62.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Padoona is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Padoona's pin code is 313801[4], and village code is 03159200. The area of Padoona is segregated as 86 hectares irrigated area, 432 hectares unirrigated, the 63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3460.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Padoona is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5767 and has total administration over 1064 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 210 (3.64%) males constitute 101 (1.75%) of the population and females 109 (1.89%).

The workforce is 1350 male, 927 female with 1392 (61.13%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 968 males and 424 females. 666 males and 392 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 12 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 885 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
