Radha Subramanyam is an American media executive and speaker.[1] She is President and Chief Research and Analytics Officer at CBS Corporation.[2] Subramanyam has more than two decades of experience across traditional and digital media where she blends traditional methodologies with Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. She has worked with companies, including IHeartMedia, Yahoo!, MTV Networks, and Nielsen, and taught media and entertainment at Vassar College and New York University.[3]
Subramanyam has been working in the media industry for more than 20 years gaining experience in research, marketing, data science, and creative. Subramanyam started her media career at NBCUniversal after previously teaching media and entertainment at Vassar College and New York University.
Subramanyam was appointed as EVP Chief Research and Analytics Officer by CBS Television Network in 2017. Her role included overseeing day-to-day research operations for the CBS Television Network, including audience measurement, analytics, market research, program testing, and advertising research. She is currently President and Chief Research and Analytics Officer at the corporation.[4]
Subramanyam serves on the board of directors of the International Radio & Television Society, the Advertising Research Foundation,[5] and the Center for Communication.
Before pursuing a career in research and analytics, Subramanyam was an actress in Indian theater.[6]
