Riniya is a small village of 1338 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Riniya depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Riniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Riniya's pin code is 342306[4], and village code is 01941600. The area of Riniya is segregated as 244.59 hectares irrigated area, 994.02 hectares unirrigated, the 31.48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Riniya is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1797 and has total administration over 287 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 412 male, 423 female with 668 (80.0%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 392 males and 276 females. 295 males and 139 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 78 male and 134 female agricultural labor. 167 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
