Sitapura is a small village of 268 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sitapura depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sitapura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sitapura's pin code is 303510[4], and village code is 01394800. The area of Sitapura is segregated as 157 hectares unirrigated, the 31.21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sitapura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sitapura is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1223 and has total administration over 191 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sitapura has 195 children, 110 boys and 85 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 438 (35.81%) males constitute 230 (18.81%) of the population and females 208 (17.01%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 315 (25.76%) males constitute 161 (13.16%) of the population and females 154 (12.59%).

The workforce is 304 male, 315 female with 574 (92.73%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 270 males and 304 females. 227 males and 297 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 45 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
