Teori is a small village of 515 hectares in Viratnagar Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Teori depends on Viratnagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Teori is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Teori's pin code is 303003[4], and village code is 01465400. The area of Teori is segregated as 194.31 hectares irrigated area, 103.5 hectares unirrigated, the 16.83 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 60.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Teori is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3702 and has total administration over 620 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 1634 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 881 male, 753 female with 1218 (74.54%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 753 males and 465 females. 477 males and 398 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 416 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Viratnagar and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
