In an op-ed Biden wrote, "We know from two world wars in the past century that when aggression in Europe goes unanswered, the crisis does not burn itself out. It draws America in directly. That’s why our commitment to Ukraine today is an investment in our own security. It prevents a broader conflict tomorrow. We are keeping American troops out of this war by supporting the brave Ukrainians defending their freedom and homeland. We are providing them with weapons and economic assistance to stop Putin’s drive for conquest, before the conflict spreads farther." [source]
Binkley's campaign website said he would, “focus on diplomacy to end the Ukraine/Russia war as quickly as possible.” [source]
DeSantis said "It’s in our interest to end this war. And that’s what I will do as president. We are not going to have a blank check. We will not have US troops, and we’re going to make the Europeans do what they need to do." [source]
Haley said, "We all know that half a million people have died because of Putin, and here is a freedom loving, pro-American country that is fighting for its survival and its democracy. No, I don’t think we should give them cash. I think we should give them the equipment and the ammunition to win. And I’ll tell you, if Biden had done it when they first asked for it, this war would be over." [source]
In his campaign announcement, Hutchinson said, "Today’s threat is the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I join with those who say we do not want an unending war in Ukraine, and the best way to avoid a long war is to help Ukraine win today." [source]
In a Republican debate, Ramaswamy said, "I would not [support an increase of funding to Ukraine]. And I think that this is disastrous, that we are protecting against an invasion across somebody else’s border, when we should use those same military resources to prevent across the invasion of our own southern border here in the United States of America. We are driving Russia further into China’s hands. The Russia-China alliance is the single greatest threat we face." [source]
Trump's campaign website said, "Every day this proxy battle in Ukraine continues, we risk global war. We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to IMMEDIATELY have a total cessation of hostilities. All shooting has to stop. This is the central issue. We need PEACE without delay." [source]
