The Alabama Macon County Ad Valorem Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Alabama on September 28, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that Macon County may levy additional ad valorem taxes to provide funding for public education.[1]
