Not on Ballot |
---|
This measure was not put on an election ballot |
The Alaska Enrichment from Public Office Act did not make the November 2012 ballot in the state of Alaska as an indirect initiated state statute.
The Division of Elections stated that there were a sufficient number of sponsor signatures and the application was certified on May 27, 2009. The one year filing deadline was June 24, 2010. The initiative was being sponsored by former Alaska House Representative members Ray Metcalfe, Philip Munger and James Price. The petition was not filed by the one year filing deadline, and thus did not make the ballot according to the Alaska Division of Elections.[1]
The bill language of the proposed measure said:[2]
