Brenda Rivera is a judge of the New York City Civil Court of Bronx County, New York. She was elected in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2024.[1]

General: She defeated Harry Hertzberg in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 88.2 percent of the vote.

Rivera received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.[2]
Prior to her election to the bench, Rivera served as a court attorney for the Bronx County Supreme Court.[2]
