Budget Reform Now (BRN) was a coalition led by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) that supported the six budget-related propositions on the May 19, 2009 ballot in California, which were designed to close the state's budget gap through a combination of a $16 billion tax increase, fund transfers, and spending cuts.[1]
Through May 11, 2009, BRN received over $7 million in donations. Of this, $2.63 million came from Schwarzenegger's California Dream Team fund.
