Cedric Banks (also known as Prophet) is a member of the Detroit Board of Police Commissioners in Michigan, representing District 3. He assumed office on January 1, 2022. His current term ends on January 1, 2026.

Banks ran for election to the Detroit Board of Police Commissioners to represent District 3 in Michigan. He won in the general election on November 2, 2021.

Banks was a nonpartisan candidate for District 3 representative on the Detroit City Council in Michigan. Banks was defeated in the primary election on August 8, 2017.

Biography[edit]

Banks' professional experience includes founding and serving as senior pastor at the Heart of Jesus International Deliverance Church. He also founded the Heart of Jesus Community Development Center.[1]
