Charles Clark (1925-2011) was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. He was nominated to the court by President Nixon. Clark passed away on March 6, 2011.[1]

Federal judicial career[edit]

Clark was nominated to the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit by Richard Nixon on October 7, 1969, to a seat vacated by Claude Feemster Clayton. He was confirmed by the Senate on October 15, 1969 and received his commission on October 17, 1969. Clark served as chief judge of the court from 1981 to 1992. His service on the court ended on January 15, 1992, due to retirement.[2]
