David Allan was an at-large member of the Modesto City Schools Board of Education in California. He was first elected to the board in the general election on November 5, 2013, and he served until his resignation effective July 25, 2017.^[1]

On November 5, 2013, candidates Sue Zwahlen, Cindy Marks, David Allan, and Ruben A. Villalobos defeated two challenging candidates for four seats on the Modesto City Schools Board of Education.
