Emmet County Senior and Ambulance Levy Renewals, 2 (August 2010)

Two Emmet County Senior and Ambulance Levy Renewal measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in Emmet County.

Both measures were approved

The first levy renewal was for the $.50 levy per $1,000 which is used to fund senior services offered by the county. The renewal will be for a further four years.

• YES 4,075 (71.2%)a
• NO 1,648 (28.8%)

The second levy renewal was for the $.25 levy per $1,000 of assessed value which is used to fund ambulance services in the county. Since it was approved, the levy will be in place for a further two years.^[1]

• YES 4,118 (74.24%) a
• NO 1,429 (25.76%)^[2]
