The Florida Court Establishment Amendment was a legislatively referred constitutional amendment in Florida which was approved on the ballot on November 8, 1898.
This amendment modified Article V of the Florida Constitution in relation to limiting the establishment of judicial courts.[1]

Section 35. No courts other than herein specified shall be established in this State, except that the Legislature may clothe any railroad commission with judicial powers in all matters connected with the functions of their office.[1] |
