The Georgia Legislative Term Limits Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 8, 1988, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have increased legislative terms of office from two to four years.[1]

| Shall the Constitution be amended so as to change the terms of office of members of the General Assembly from two years to four years beginning with the terms of office of the members of the General Assembly elected at the 1988 state-wide general election?[1][2] |
