Ian English is a judge of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Ohio. He assumed office in 2015. His current term ends on February 8, 2027.
English (Nonpartisan, Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Ohio. English won in the general election on November 3, 2020. He advanced from the Democratic primary on April 28, 2020.
English received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo and his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2000.[1]
Prior to his election to the bench, English served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Lucas County Prosecutor's Office. He previously worked as an attorney in private practice.[1][2]
