Jim Flaherty (b. December 23, 1930) was a senior judge on the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. He was first elected to the court in November 1995, effective the following January. He retired to senior status on December 23, 2000 when he turned 70.

Flaherty graduated cum laude from Washington & Jefferson College in 1953. He served in the military during the Korean conflict, after which he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, receiving an LL.B in 1959.

After completing his formal education, Flaherty worked as a trial lawyer and partner for a litigation firm. He founded his own firm in 1969, practicing municipal, school and public employee labor law.

Flaherty is married to Katy Keller Flaherty and together they have five children.
