Kari Cecilie Kristiansen is a superior court judge for the Third Judicial District in Alaska. She was appointed on November 17, 2006, by Gov. Frank Murkowski (R). Kristiansen was retained for a six-year term in 2010. She won another full term in the retention election on November 8, 2016.
Judge Kristiansen attended Northwestern University to earn her Bachelor of Science in engineering in 1986 and Willamette University for her J.D. in 1989.[1][2]

Kristiansen was retained in 2010.[3] The Alaska Judicial Council supported her retention.[4][5] She is up for retention again in 2016.
