Ken Sanchez was the nonpartisan District 1 representative on the Albuquerque City Council in New Mexico. First elected in 2005, Sanchez won a new term in the general election on October 3, 2017. Sanchez passed away on January 1, 2020.[1]

Biography[edit]

Sanchez's professional experience included serving as vice president of Gilbert Sanchez Tax and Accounting Services, president and qualified broker of Ken Sanchez & Associates Realty, an enrolled agent for the Internal Revenue Service, and as a financial advisor for HD Best.[2]
