The Legislative Data Processing Center is a joint legislative service agency of the Pennsylvania General Assembly that no longer fell within Ballotpedia's coverage scope as of March 9, 2021.

Per the Senate and House Rules, joint committees of the Pennsylvania General Assembly are assigned by the president pro tempore and by the speaker of the House.[1][2]

Function[edit]

Created by the act of December 10, 1968 (P.L.1158, No. 365), the purpose of the agency is to establish and operate computer systems capable of storing and retrieving all of the financial, factual, procedural and legal information necessary to serve all of the committees, officers and agencies of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.[3][4]
