Leigh Martin May is federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to joining the court, she was a partner at the law firm of Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer LLP. President Barack Obama nominated May to fill a vacancy on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on December 19, 2013.[1] May received confirmation on November 13, 2014, when the United States Senate voted 99-0 in favor.[2]
May earned her B.S., with honors, from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993 and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1998.[1]
