    Liberty County is located within the Atlantic Judicial Circuit of the Superior Court First District.

    In addition to the Superior Court the people of Liberty County are served by a Probate Court, a Juvenile Court, a Magistrate Court, three Municipal Courts and a State Court.

    The United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia has jurisdiction in Liberty County. Appeals from the Southern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
