A Lincoln County Animal Control District Creation question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in Lincoln County, where it was approved.
This measure sought to create a district which would encompass and fund the county animal shelter and animal control operations. If the district is created, it would also have an advisory committee to help provide direction for the two services. A dedicated tax for the district would also be implemented for shelter and control operations.[1]
