Lisa Fricke is a member of the Nebraska State Board of Education, representing District 2. She assumed office in 2017. Her current term ends on January 9, 2025.
Fricke ran for re-election to the Nebraska State Board of Education to represent District 2. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Fricke's teaching experience includes time spent teaching a variety of subjects at the middle and high school levels, including English, geography, and speech and drama. Fricke has served on a variety of education-related boards, including the Special Education Accountability Commission. Fricke has also participated in the Intergenerational Mentoring Program as a teacher mentor.[1]
Fricke was first elected to the board in November 2016 and took office in January 2017.
