The city of Chesapeake, Virginia, held elections for city council on May 6, 2014. Five of the eight council seats were up for election. Elections are held every two years on the first Tuesday in May to fill expiring terms.[1][2][3]
Note: Incumbent Scott W. Matheson did not run for re-election.
