The Nebraska State Executive Officer Recalls Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Nebraska on November 8, 1938, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have authorized the recall of state executive officers by electors when said officers fail to resign after a petition is filed for their recall.[1]
