The New York judicial elections of 2010 consisted of a Primary Election on September 14, 2010 and a General Election on November 2, 2010.

Overview[edit]

The New York Supreme Court, the state's trial court, is the highest level of the judiciary elected in New York. Candidates to run for these seats were chosen at Judicial Conventions, held September 21-27, 2010.

9th Judicial District (D):J. Emmett Murphy, Timothy J. Drury, Colleen Duffy, Lawrence H. Ecker (R): Matthew J. Byrne, James Maisano, Gerald M. Klein Lawrence H. Ecker, Colleen Duffy, J. Emmett Murphy, and Linda Christopher won the election.[7]

Erie County Court (D): James A.W. McLeod and Kenneth F. Case Both candidates competed again in the general election.[12][13] Kenneth F. Case won with 59% of the vote.[14]
Cheektowaga Town Court (R): James M. Vallone and Dennis A. Delano, Sr. James M. Vallone was up for re-election. Dennis A. Delano, Sr. won with 51% of the vote.[15][16]
Elma Town Court Robert J. Pierce and David W. Polak Robert J. Pierce was up for re-election. Robert J. Pierce.[17]
Sardinia Town Court (D): Ronald Francis Thompson and Marie A. Uhteg Both candidates competed in the general election.[18] Ronald Francis Thompson won with 62% of the vote.[14]
West Seneca Town Court (D): Joseph C. Lorigo, Jeffrey M. Harrington and Nancy J. Bizub Jeffrey M. Harrington.[19]
