The Oregon Special Election for U.S. Senator Vacancy Amendment, also known as Measure 4, was on the May 20, 1986 ballot in Oregon as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure required a special election for vacancies in the state delegation to the United States Senate.[1]
